The name “green juice” just sounds like it’s healthy. Depending on what you put in it, drinking of it can help boost your health and aid in losing weight, if you’re mindful about its ingredients and the amount you consume. According to San Francisco Chronicle, green juice made with vegetables such as kale or spinach, cucumbers, lemon juice, and others can provide over 30 percent of your daily potassium needs and at least 20 percent of your vitamin A requirements. Potassium helps to boost your energy and helps relax stressed blood vessels, which helps regulate healthy blood flow. Vitamin A is a powerful antioxidant that helps support eye, brain and bone health, while also boosting immunity and cell growth.
You can make green juices in a large amount and refrigerate it for the whole week. The goal when making green juice is making sure it doesn’t taste like you’re drinking liquid grass. A balance the herbs, greens with a little green apples, cucumbers, or pineapple or any other juicy fruit, will help give you the best balance when it comes to juice. Though investing in a quality juicer is a good idea, it can be expensive. You can always freeze your ingredients and blend them to make a green smoothie. Try adding frozen bananas!
